• John Rennie (1761-1821) - Waterloo, London and Southwark bridges, design of Plymouth Breakwater
• Sir John Rennie (1794-1874) was connected with some of the same projects as Rastrick eg Chepstow Bridge (he failed to appear at a meeting there on 15th Oct 1811), and London & Brighton Railway, after planning the route with Rennie, Rastrick was given the task of building it, without Rennie, [Oxford]
