Photocopy
from the "Echo", Brighouse, Friday February 7th, 1919 - 46k.
(Photocopied a few years ago - photocopiers
are better now.)
The "Echo" article on the 'Rastricks
of Rastrick' describes the crest:-
"Arms of Rastrick of Rastrick, West Riding of the County of York - Argent, a Chevron between three Roses, gules, barbed and seeded proper; Crest, a Martlet expanding its wings, warlike, on a Chapeau gules turned up ermine; Supporter Dexter, Palm branch, Sinister Olive branch, conjoined. [Olive has been crossed out and Laurel written instead on the cutting I have.]
