Notes

The movie credits list "Whispers", not "Whisper".

There are three pages about the music for Sweetie in Screen Scores, Studies in Contemporary Australian Film Music, pp205-8.

Schell Fenster's - "This Illusion" and "That's Impossible" are listed in the end credits, but I watched the film twice and didn't hear them. Screen Scores mentions use of 'low level radio music', which could be an explanation. "Whisper" is used more obviously, and for at least two minutes.

Tony Backhouse sings on several tracks of The Underwater Melon Man (1998) (book and CD)
