A weekend with Sydney's rave culture - a dozen characters cross paths. "Sample" is used both for the dance music theme and the idea that the characters are a sample cross-section of their world.

"Experience a feverish mix of sex, drugs, music and violence starring Kylie who plays the girlfriend of a notorious Aussie gangster."
SX Magazine, Aug 21, 2002, Issue 722

Director: Clinton Smith

Music: Rafael May

"One Step Ahead" (Neil Finn) - Kiley Gaffney (originally by Split Enz)

"We wanted to create a theme, with some unity to the music. We re-invented some of the 70's Australian songs to keep the Australian feel strong. Some, such as 'Don't Change' by INXS and 'One Step Ahead' have an international presence, and we teamed these songs up with great Australian talent who would add another layer to the original and make it contemporary."
