"Anyone whose seen the series knows music is a major feature of this programme. At the start Peter [Carrodus] and Steve [Evans] were presented with 200 CDs of Australian music which they listened to and made notes on the style and what might suit the series into a book. This enabled them to refer to the CD 'Bible' and quickly find the particular style they need for the episode they were cutting. It is the editor's responsibility to select the music and lay it into the cut, which is a big deal. They're allowed 4 original songs per episode. Phil Judd composes the rest of the music using the approved temp music that has been laid as a guide."
