The Locals (NZ 2003)

Fantasy/horror. Grant (John Barker), who has just split from his long-term girlfriend is persuaded by his best mate, Paul (Dwayne Cameron), to spend a weekend away having fun. But after meeting two girls while taking a short cut through the backroads and spinning off the road when a car appears from nowhere, they are left stranded in the darkness.
