Annie's Coming Out/Test of Love (Aus 1984)

Fictionalised account of a true story of a physically handicapped girl, wrongly diagnosed as being mentally handicapped as well.

Nick Seymour "art designer and set decorator" for this movie, according to Crowded House (album music), but his name is not in the closing credits.

"Something So Strong", pp40-1, says that before joining Crowded House, Nick was working as an art director for television production company Crawfords and then freelance. (Crawfords do not seem to have been involved with Annie's Coming Out.)
- It doesn't mention many specific productions Nick worked on. Those it cites include all the videos for Tim Finn's Escapade album, ["Fraction too much friction"; "Staring at the embers"; "Through the years", all in 1983] because he was a friend of director of the videos Richard Lowenstein, who later directed the Crowded House videos "Mean To Me" and "Into Temptation".
Annie's Coming Out would have been one of many productions he was involved in shortly before he joined Crowded House.

(In contrast, Rob Gillies of Split Enz has become involved in a similar line of work after leaving the band.)
