Matinee Idyll - Sacred Heart College Magazine, 1970

On this page: Tim Finn | Mike Chunn | Dave Dobbyn

Neil and Tim Finn, Mike Chunn and Dave Dobbyn all attended Sacred Heart College, Auckland

A few years ago a kind person sent me some photocopies of pages from the 1970 school magazine which mention Tim Finn and Mike Chunn. There is one photo of Dave Dobbyn.

Tim Finn

Tim used his first name, Brian at school. He became Tim when most members of Split Enz decided to use their middle names instead of their first names: eg Tony Rayner became Eddie Rayner (Stranger Than Fiction p79). Neil hadn't yet joined.

Brian Finn is in the magazine:-
