Matinee Idyll - Phil Judd
On
this page: Phil
Judd musician - links | Phil Judd engineer - links | notes
There are two people with the name
'Phil Judd' who appear in movie credits. I've written this page with
the aim of clarifying who's who.
I understand that any credit for
sound/recording/mixer is not Phil Judd, formerly of Split Enz, but for
someone else with the same name - a sound engineer living in Australia.
The
Internet Movie Database has two listings
Phil
Judd (I) (actor, composer, other crew member) and Phil
Judd (II) (sound department member).

Notes
|
Starstruck has Phil Judd as sound recordist
and
actor!!
Strictly Ballroom - the flashback
sequence is reminiscent of early Split Enz videos.
Thanks Theresa for telling me about
the Connections article.
*The Split Enz
name changes are listed on p79 of Stranger Than
Fiction.
In 1975 most of the members of Split
Enz began using their middle names instead of their first names:-
Brian Finn became Tim Finn
Geoffrey Crombie became Noel Crombie
Tony Rayner became Eddie Rayner
Paul Crowther became Emlyn Crowther
Mike Chunn became Jonathan Chunn
Phil Judd stayed as Phil Judd (his
full name is Philip Raymond Judd)
